Reproducidos en c\u00f3dices que se conservan en distintas instituci\u00f3ns museogr\u00e1ficas e arquiv\u00edsticas de Europa, non queremos renunciar a tratar sobre alg\u00fans destes manuscritos, tanto os redactados en variantes oilitanas como os que se verteron ou adaptaron ao toscano e veneciano. Al\u00e9n de describir as orixes de <strong>Merl\u00edn<\/strong> e traer certo cap\u00edtulo da Vulgata \u2013nomeadamente do Merl\u00edn en Prosa\u2013 haber\u00e1 outros extra\u00eddos das Profec\u00edas que, sobre ese mago, creou cara a 1272 o franciscano Richart d\u2019Irlande.<br>Nun \u00faltimo lugar resaltarase a importancia de determinados incun\u00e1beis e edici\u00f3ns antigas francesas, ademais de explicar por que se prohibiron dende o s\u00e9culo XVI tales textos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>H\u00e9itor Picallo Fuentes<\/strong> (Vila do Ba\u00f1o \u2013 Cuntis, 1974) \u00e9 enxe\u00f1eiro t\u00e9cnico naval pola UDC. Al\u00e9n de ilustrar libros, combina o seu oficio coa investigaci\u00f3n, sendo obras s\u00faas: Xoh\u00e1n Xes\u00fas Gonz\u00e1lez: un precursor do soberanismo galego (2008); Coa lingua na terra (2013), Cuntis na \u00e9poca romana (2016); No medievo, casta\u00f1as e casti\u00f1eiros como recursos econ\u00f3micos (2018); As letras galegas en caricatura (2020); O escudo do Reino da Galiza: unha (re)visi\u00f3n (inter)nacional e A onom\u00e1stica nacida da terra (2021). A elas s\u00famanselle varios t\u00edtulos infant\u00eds e outros de coautor\u00eda.
